We love your little ones, but this is an adult event. The party will go late. Plan accordingly. If you need help coordinating baby sitting in Provence please contact us as we have other parents we can put you in contact with to do a group baby sitting arrangement.
We know traveling to France can be a stretch and so we will be having a small casual gathering in the US for those who cannot make it due to travel. Please see the San Francisco page for updates or RSVP on the Partiful for text updates.
For those of you looking into staying longer and making a vacation out of it, we are flying in on August 22, 2025 into Nice and relaxing on the Riveria (Saint Tropez and Monte Carlo, anyone?) as a bachelor and bachelorette celebration before heading into Provence by car transfer into Avginon. Charmaine and Sam will head to Paris via train through TGV Avginon 9/5. If anyone would like to travel together, please let us know early as tickets for seats are assigned and are flex rate meaning they will get more expensive as they are booked up and as the day gets closer. Do not book last minute. Buy train tickets early.
You can also plan to fly into Marseille for an easier trip into Provence. Usually, they will connect in CDG (Paris) then Marseille (1hr 20min flight). Then from the Marseille airport, it is about an hour to an hour and a half drive to the venue to give you perspective. You can also fly into Paris if you like a cityscape, then a beautiful 2-4 hour train ride down to the Provence area. Stopping at TGV Avignon which will be 30 minutes driving from the venue. You may ask the hotel to arrange a car service if necessary. Driving in Provence is “easy” for experienced drivers. There are hills so be aware if booking a manual transmission car. There are a good amount of automatic cars for rent. Eurocar is big or they have Hertz at both the Mariselle Airport and the TGV Avginon station. If taking the train in any of these areas, plan ahead and buy early. Seats are limited.
Please RSVP by May 15th, 2025. The lodging in Provence is limited.
Hope to see you all there! Can’t wait to celebrate!
